Join Corin and MP Stuart Anderson discussing the Armed Forces Covenant

As the region’s leading business support agency our ethos is, and always has been, that business is done together. There has never been a more important time for businesses to connect with political influencers, decision makers and leaders and our series of virtual events with high profile figures, will enable our Chamber members to do just that.

We are bringing together our members to hear the perspectives and observations of our influential guests as we operate through the COVID-19 emergency and begin to explore ‘what next’ for our businesses, various sectors and the Black Country economy.

Join us in conversation with Stuart Anderson MP as we explore the prospects for the region’s business community and learn more about Stuart’s military career and how it has influenced and shaped his career and his role as a politician. Elected to serve as Conservative MP for Wolverhampton South West in December 2019, Stuart was one of the intake of new MPs who has since witnessed how parliament and the operations of Westminster have had to adapt during the lockdown period.

About Stuart:

Joining the Army immediately after leaving school; Stuart suffered an injury and overcame considerable adversity before going on to complete tours in Northern Ireland and Europe. After leaving the Army, he worked in the defence and security industry in over 50 locations across the world and later became founder and CEO of an award-winning business which uses technology to help companies keep their employees safe as they travel the globe. Stuart was elected a county councillor in 2017 and, upon entering parliament last year, became an active member of the Defence Select Committee.

This event is presenting in conjunction with the Chamber Military Network and takes place during Armed Forces Week (22 – 27 June).
